So Def was with me for most of the first session I had with this tune (had another just to button things up), he picked the "key" (fell out of that pretty immediately but still started there), the tempo, and was just part of the creative process throughout. It was fun!
Something interesting I tried with this piece you'll hear in the first inst: Glissando chords in fm. This was not easy to get right, and I ended up hacking a solution of using a table to mod the pitches of the harmonies from 00 to their respective spot, and fade in the volume so there's not a 4x same note blaring before they mod. Anyway, I think it worked out all things considered, but it did seem a bit buggy for some unknown reason. All in all though I like the piece, and hope you do too! :)
