this was done on the m8 (hi Trash80!), Starting with a chord prog that was generated with RAN on SCG (modes in this case) and TBL (7th pop voicings based on diatonic chords within mode), using SED till I found one I liked (actually changed it halfway through the prog, and manually entered the altered V to button it up). Then I plugged in my controller and took a solo (had to clean up some KILs but for the most part untouched), then generated another prog for the B, midi'd in a melody for that, then just messed around with production etc to fill it out. The end is funny: I turned SED back to 00, and just let it do whatever. I actually rendered it 3 times and this was the "best" ending of the 3.
